After 21 minutes of play, E. Escolano gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. J. Esles unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Mbutu's A. Zappalà was shown a yellow card after 29 minutes for slicing down an opponent. T. Koistinen of CTU had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. V. Alanís came in to finish the match. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to CTU, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

A. Zappalà behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 73 minutes as he gave the ball away to E. Vilalta. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. B. Škoda could have increased the lead after 77 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. The referee showed Mbutu's B. Zwier the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. CTU enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Most important CTU player was V. Alanís. A. Maciá turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Mbutu player was without a doubt N. Sirico. However, A. Brunamonti made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 0.
