Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 1688 to 4thehorde Arena. Killian Vandervaren was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Žak Šoštarec and Oreste Boselli. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for 4thehorde. They fielded: Zupanič - Karasu, Dolenc, Iacopini - Anžel, Štiberc, Petras, Peršin, Lončar - Bausola, Napotnik.

The wings were the focus of most of 4thehorde's attacks today. After 12 minutes, a penalty kick by C. Giot could have resulted in the lead for the visitors, but the keeper made the save. 17 minutes into the game İ. Karasu could see that the opposing goalie was out of position and tried an unexpected lob that the keeper just barely reached. The rebound went to J. Anžel who failed to hit the target. With 18 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as A. Iacopini flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. I. Petras of 4thehorde received a yellow card after 19 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. J. Anžel could have increased the lead after 31 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After 34 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by T. Peršin might have resulted in another goal for 4thehorde. However, J. Gobber made a spectacular save. 4thehorde increased the lead as F. Bausola struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Players in 4thehorde heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. I. Petras finished off the counterattack of 4thehorde from the left rather easily, making the score 3 - 0. By now, the players in 4thehorde felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 4thehorde were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. It was 3 - 0 at the break. 4thehorde claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

D. Lončar left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. M. Bajde was the replacement. The 4thehorde players could smell victory in the air. J. Anžel wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for T. Neuberg after 46 minutes. Scooby needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes B. Kroboth made way for O. Heininen. 4thehorde had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. 4thehorde's J. Štiberc swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. A. Stefančič was called on to replace 4thehorde's T. Peršin after 62 minutes following a nasty collision. 69 minutes into the game, 4thehorde were awarded a penalty that J. Štiberc turned into 4 - 0 without a problem. 4thehorde managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when A. Stefančič cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. C. Trischler of Scooby was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. A. Napotnik could have put 4thehorde up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 76 minutes. M. Bajde dispatched a majestic long shot 80 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. 4thehorde had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

4thehorde's best player was J. Štiberc. I. Petras was a disappointment, however. S. Mutti performed admirably for Scooby. C. Trischler turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
