previous 5/10 next 7/10  sebucha 3 - 1 Rijnswind (379442593)

It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 2854 that came out to Progresiv Stadium. Paolo Lo Iacono was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Toni Mattila and Mikael Lewmo. sebucha decided to use a 4-3-3 set up. The following players had been chosen: Sarandeses - Kammer, Floriańczyk, Brabec, Ercan - Rejniak, MacAlduie, Defresne - Michelet, Kempen, Krystyniak.

Rijnswind tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Israel - Foryś, Pliński, Stacha, Masny - Ostański, Torrão, Hallongren, Zajko - Iriarte, Dusay.

M. Dusay's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 7 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to J. Iriarte who knocked it in for Rijnswind. 0 - 1! After 11 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Rijnswind found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. With 12 minutes having been played, sebucha scored to make it 1 - 1. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but É. Defresne was marked down as the scorer. With 14 minutes played, A. Ostański of Rijnswind fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to J. Kempen, but the sebucha player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! sebucha increased the lead as C. Krystyniak struck to make the score 3 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. After this, you could see that the players of sebucha were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. É. Defresne of sebucha received a yellow card after 32 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 34 minutes into the game, Rijnswind seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. H. Hallongren enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. With 36 minutes played, G. Kammer could have brought this one home for sebucha as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. sebucha claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

A review of the gameplan helped Rijnswind get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. The crowd roared its approval when B. Sarandeses somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Rijnswind's A. Ostański 47 minutes into the game. C. Krystyniak left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 48 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. A. Jülich was the replacement. The home side's J. Kempen came close to extending the lead 56 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but B. Israel managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. X. Michelet wanted to play on, but the sebucha coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 61 minutes into the game by Ó. Iciar. The coach of sebucha was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 63 minutes, R. Baas came on for A. MacAlduie. Always quick on his feet, sebucha's A. Jülich sped down the field after 68 minutes, but his pass to Ó. Iciar was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. A. Ostański had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper B. Sarandeses was simply unbeatable. Possession in this half belonged to Rijnswind, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The most dominating sebucha player was without a doubt T. Ercan. B. Sarandeses turned in a dismal performance, however. Rijnswind's best player was M. Dusay. However, W. Masny made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.
