Andrews increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Trinidad increased the lead as M. Burgos struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Trinidad claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

With 59 minutes played, M. Gelinas could have brought this one home for Trinidad as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, E. Maagaard got himself booked. The manager of Liberec was not happy. Liberec fought on and, after 66 minutes, I. Titl was able to reduce the deficit to 3 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. The bench was restless, and with 70 minutes passed Liberec's coach gave T. Stachulec the opportunity the player had been hoping for. O. Pelíšek reluctantly left the field. Trinidad put themselves up 4 - 1 when D. Banks broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The crowd roared its approval when L. Bossa somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Liberec's E. Maagaard 82 minutes into the game. R. Duda rose like a salmon, and was very close to scoring with a header after a corner, but sent the ball just over the bar. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. C. Andrews squirmed through their central defence after 86 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 1. This third goal completed a hattrick for C. Andrews. Liberec almost scored after a swift counterattack 89 minutes into the game, but E. Maagaard put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Trinidad, with 53 percent of the ball.

C. Andrews performed admirably for Trinidad. D. Tjoe-Ny on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Liberec player was I. Titl. R. Marcusson was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 1.
