Palmese after 5 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. maitiger takes the lead, 1 - 0! 26 minutes into the game, HT16 seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to poor. It was a fine day for P. David on his wing, his cross pass to T. Ojaluoto was especially delicate 31 minutes into the game, but the keeper saved. maitiger solidified their lead at the 32 minute mark, as J. Patteri dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as maitiger scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for F. Palmese after 36 minutes. maitiger increased the lead as E. Pereira struck to make the score 4 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. After this, you could see that the players of maitiger were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 4 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to maitiger, who controlled the ball 74 percent of the time.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that HT16 had passable organisation. M. Nordhausen wanted to play on, but the maitiger coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 50 minutes into the game by T. Kalkan. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in maitiger's İ. Engdahl kept the visitors in the game. The referee showed maitiger's J. Patteri the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by maitiger, with 71 percent of the ball.

The most dominating maitiger player was without a doubt M. van Breukelen. E. Taşkın was a disappointment, however. A. Utterlind performed admirably for HT16. On the other hand, A. Bohumil's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 0.
