previous 3/10 next 5/10  Coffee 5 - 0 JIHLAVA (379481377)

Clear skies welcomed the 3183 spectators who had made their way to Milky Stadium. Giuseppe Gualano was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Benjamin Quintana and Marco Facchin. Coffee tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players took the field: Askenland - Tičina, Kurelić, Krdžić, Mušanović - Ginés, Tulstrup, Juul, Halley, Međedović - Weyer.

JIHLAVA decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. Lineup: Šolín - Nãstãsoiu, Papežík - Petrášek, Honzík, Procházka, Nieslanik, Hladký - Kopecký, Machart, Parolek.

C. Halley gave Coffee the lead with a beautiful free kick after 2 minutes. 1 - 0! Things were deteriorating for the away team as Coffee scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for H. Tulstrup after 7 minutes. Coffee put themselves up 3 - 0 when S. Ginés broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. With 34 minutes played, F. Nieslanik had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Coffee claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed JIHLAVA's coach gave T. Strand the opportunity the player had been hoping for. J. Šolín reluctantly left the field. M. Kurelić should probably have put his team up another goal after 50 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by T. Strand kept the visitors in the game. C. Halley's curling free kick almost found the goal for Coffee, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. S. Mušanović increased the lead for Coffee to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! By now, the players in Coffee felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 70 minutes JIHLAVA's B. Honzík limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 81 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and C. Halley gave the Coffee supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to JIHLAVA, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Coffee's best player was H. Tulstrup. On the other hand, M. Kurelić's play was disheartening. Most important JIHLAVA player was P. Kopecký. However, M. Nãstãsoiu made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 0.
