Raphael, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. FC-našlapanci fans held their breath as C. Porto scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! FC-našlapanci's F. Santoro saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 41 minutes. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FC-našlapanci, with 62 percent of the ball.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, VIP's M. Lidor was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. P. Šando made a spectacular save. 65 minutes in, FC-našlapanci's Z. Lezo received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. L. Batty couldn't finish the match after being injured, leaving VIP a man down. Some things can only be learned through experience, and K. Nyegaard should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting FC-našlapanci a goal with 83 minutes of the match played. After 84 minutes, N. Kunichev put FC-našlapanci ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. U. Mcmullen was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by N. Kunichev, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. A great save by keeper S. Šando after 86 minutes kept the visitors in the game after C. Porto struck from the left with a real cannonball. After 87 minutes FC-našlapanci's N. Kunichev had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. L. Straka came in to replace him. After 87 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and W. Bruinzeel gave the FC-našlapanci supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. FC-našlapanci enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.
