30-05-2012 12.30
It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 2606 that came out to
MiNaS TiRiTH.
Mercé Ribera was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Cas van der Duin van Maasdam and
Alpay Yumlu.
Teis had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Aminifar - Sisterón, Novković, Melstvedt - Minzo, Hammerschmid, Mancebo, Pons, Mainez García - Vázquez Zafra, Kalchev.
Weisse tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Köpenick - Bandola, Bednorz, Doebereiner, Zacharias - Hintzmann, Geffers, Brüchle, Nohynek, Borchart - Valkonen.
The visiting
P. Zacharias was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 5 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
N. Nohynek was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Weisse's
G. Brüchle managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 0 - 2
After this, you could see that the players of Weisse were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
A wonderful trick by
C. Vázquez Zafra that left
G. Brüchle bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save.
After 27 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
J. Valkonen to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3.
Halftime score was 0 - 3.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Weisse, with 60 percent of the ball.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Weisse goal after 52 minutes, making it 0 - 4.
P. Zacharias was noted down as the scorer.
The Weisse players could smell victory in the air.
J. Valkonen wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
J. Nordkvist after 60 minutes.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
P. Zacharias took over the role of being the Weisse captain.
It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why
M. Novković found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork.
Weisse increased their lead after 81 minutes when
A. Bandola broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay.
O. Melstvedt of Teis received a yellow card after 82 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
The Weisse free kick 83 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
V. Hintzmann, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 6!
J. Sisterón of Teis was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
Possession in this half belonged to Weisse, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.
The most dominating Teis player was without a doubt
M. Pons.
R. Aminifar turned in a dismal performance, however.
Most important Weisse player was
G. Brüchle.
On the other hand,
L. Bednorz's play was disheartening.
The match ends 0 - 6.
