Moyano was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so vsk-veitvet's L. Hasle had to come off the bench. vsk-veitvet were very close to putting themselves one up after 18 minutes as J. Ibañez Ibero got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 32 minutes allowed E. Bodnar to score for maddogs. The scoreboard now read 1 - 2. vsk-veitvet had to make a substitution after 33 minutes. R. Silva Souto limped off the field and was replaced by J. Gunnerød. The visitors' J. Laukkanen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 34 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for maddogs. Halftime score was 1 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to vsk-veitvet, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

vsk-veitvet supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to J. Egaña who reduced the visitors' lead after 69 minutes to 2 - 3. A drive down the left side allowed E. Bodnar to get in close and score another goal for maddogs after 76 minutes, taking the score to 2 - 4. It took several tries, but vsk-veitvet managed to break through on the left after 81 minutes, getting the ball to T. Korsholm who easily reduced the lead to make the score 3 - 4. The crowd roared in delight as T. Korsholm finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for vsk-veitvet 85 minutes into the match. 4 - 4. vsk-veitvet claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

vsk-veitvet's best player was J. Egaña. J. Gunnerød on the other hand, had a terrible day. E. Bodnar performed admirably for maddogs. A. Tømmervik turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 4.
