The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 2017 had shown up at Stankov Nikola for the match. Trond Jensen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Perry Cope and Christophe Laforge. With 8 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after D. Ivanovski came through the middle, but his kick went wide. The crowd was silenced 9 minutes into the match as the visiting team's Z. Stojković came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave H. Piispala from Strelište a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 12 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 20 minutes, following yet another great corner, O. Mrkušić's flick on at the near post reached F. Jansson, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 25 minutes into the match left Strelište's H. Piispala completely free to score. 1 - 2 for the visitors. The home crowd cheered when, after 31 minutes, Z. Stojković's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 32 minutes Strelište's F. Jansson contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. H. Piispala came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over I. Mirić but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Strelište, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

M. Žilić received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 48 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Strelište fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The visitors' O. Mrkušić took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 59 minutes into the match. 1 - 4 for Strelište. Confident in their lead, Strelište's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from D. Ivanovski after 72 minutes, and prevented Strelište from going up another goal. With 74 minutes played, S. Stanković nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Strelište, with 68 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Schpreecer player was without a doubt M. Perišić. However, L. Pârjol made a disastrous appearance. Strelište's best player was H. Piispala. O. Mrkušić turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
