Dark skies made the crowd of 3425 at 4e wijk a little nervous, but the rain held off. Richard Cavillon was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Silvano Silva Diniz and Iliya Alexandrov. vier decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Champion - Deville, Lormans, Verroken - Keuleers, Quesada, Deseintebein, Loobuyck, Carneim - Sweron, Hoho.

Forshay started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. Starters: Bolton - Starr, Dyś, 存锋 (Cunfeng), Vöhrum - Shackelford, Coray, Cabrera, Geugelin, Ham - Lankford.

Forshay mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Forshay players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G. Deseintebein got himself booked. The manager of vier was not happy. Forshay took the lead after 43 minutes making the score 0 - 1. B. Dyś placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Forshay claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

杨. 存锋 (Cunfeng) got left behind when vier's S. Sweron made a sudden run forward after 56 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 1 - 1! Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 58 minutes into the match, and B. Dyś wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 1 - 2 for the visitors. A. Lankford received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 75 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Forshay fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Forshay, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Forshay's A. Lankford got himself booked for a foul. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Forshay, with 54 percent of the ball.

H. Loobuyck performed admirably for vier. M. Hoho on the other hand, had a terrible day. Forshay's top performer was clearly G. Coray. G. Bolton was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
