Durigo really should have scored when he was chosen by fate to confront a wide open goal following a great play by A. Guruceta after a corner. cabau's P. Dennehy increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 43 minutes. It was 3 - 0 at the break. cabau had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

With 47 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Héroes showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when S. Ozores got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their Á. Vidróczki reduced the lead to make it 3 - 2 after 50 minutes, following a pass from the right. After 55 minutes Héroes tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, S. Rubio Saenz's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. cabau enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
