It was an obvious ambition of Chorizos to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Chorizos's P. Hollaert got himself booked for a foul. M. De marigny looked great 14 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' J. van Zundert. Down the middle came S. Bonde, making a fantastic play that nearly had Leondis take the lead after 18 minutes, but M. De marigny preserved the tie. After 22 minutes, N. Jørgensen sent the corner kick right to W. Kreis who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 1! After 23 minutes, A. Jaraquemada got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. The visitors added to their lead 34 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Leondis's N. Jørgensen slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 2. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like A. Jaraquemada. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Leondis, with 61 percent of the ball.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Leondis coach let R. Passenberg replace B. Stepnowski after 70 minutes. The referee showed Leondis's R. Passenberg the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. W. Kreis wanted to play on, but the Leondis coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by M. Dilek. J. van Zundert left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. L. Hovi was the replacement. 75 minutes into the game Chorizos broke through on the left wing and J. Somonte managed to reduce the lead to 1 - 2. A drive down the left side allowed J. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Leondis lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Chorizos's M. Vonlaufen had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 81 minutes having been played. V. Sá Pinto was the replacement. P. Hollaert was the new captain of Chorizos - handed the armband by the departing player. 85 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 4 as J. Kotkaniemi finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. A marvellous Chorizos effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 86 minutes by A. Jaraquemada, making the score 2 - 4. Leondis had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

J. Mesa performed admirably for Chorizos. On the other hand, I. Wood's play was disheartening. Most important Leondis player was N. Jørgensen. M. Dilek turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 4.
