Toverit seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. 0 - 1 was the score with 19 minutes played, after R. Wick cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Toverit. The referee signalled a penalty 22 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. G. Grätscher knocked it home to make the score 0 - 2. United80's S. Bechara was shown a yellow card after 26 minutes for slicing down an opponent. With 27 minutes played, V. Neag of United80 fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. With the scoreboard showing that 28 minutes had been played, Toverit nearly put themselves up another goal after O. Martí came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. It was obvious that team Toverit had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. The home crowd cheered when, after 31 minutes, S. Akyol's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 36 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave S. Akyol a chance to increase the lead for Toverit, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. The players of Toverit now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Toverit, who controlled the ball 87 percent of the time.

Toverit were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The visitors' E. Ruhanen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 50 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Toverit. United80 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes S. Bechara made way for N. Mira. After 69 minutes, Toverit's G. Grätscher burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 5. After 73 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for O. Martí who increased Toverit's lead to 0 - 6. The referee showed Toverit's E. Giergiel the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 84 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Billeskov who increased Toverit's lead to 0 - 7. S. Akyol of Toverit received a yellow card after 86 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The home crowd was not impressed when G. Grätscher came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 87 minutes. Toverit were now up 0 - 8. At that, G. Grätscher was noted down for a hat trick! Toverit claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 89 percent.

The most dominating United80 player was without a doubt N. Mira. However, G. Anesa made a disastrous appearance. Toverit's best player was R. Wick. On the other hand, A. Soto's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 8.
