The crowd of 925 turning up at Nieborak Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Raimund Dette was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Cem Tuna and Erich Wagner. Nieboraki tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Nieboraki created a good opportunity to score 13 minutes into the match when M. Duda's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. It was a bad day for the usually speedy D. Gvozdenović. The mud seemed to slow him down. Nieboraki's O. Ulbæk was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - M. Beljanski managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 1 - 1 after 68 minutes. Nieboraki's W. Guimarães tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Possession in this half belonged to Nieboraki, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

Nieboraki's top performer was clearly L. Campara. M. Beljanski turned in a dismal performance, however. P. Stensson performed admirably for CZARNI. On the other hand, W. Łoboda's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 1.
