Stairway 5 - 0 Bullshit
(379806865)

06-06-2012 10.35
Clear skies welcomed the 1106 spectators who had made their way to
creeping death.
Radosław Pacocha was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Arnout Demanez and
Timo Honka.
Stairway had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Dahlkvist - Scherer, Getir, Spühler - Bach, Hjalmarsson, Barvydis, Kiesling, Stryffler - Querido, Demange.
Bullshit tactics involved an interesting 5-4-1 combination.
They fielded: Zankl - Filtenborg, Višňovský, Popârlan, Jalón, Klich - Ulmi, Heise, Fuehrlinger, Belding - Gisinger.
It was an obvious ambition of Stairway to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
Stairway took the lead 7 minutes in, as
H. Hjalmarsson broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
Stairway's
O. Stryffler set up a perfect opportunity for
A. Querido, but the latter failed to score.
The home side's
O. Stryffler came close to extending the lead 19 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
W. Zankl managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.
26 minutes into the game,
H. Kiesling had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
F. Delcour.
Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 30 minutes, Stairway did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker,
A. Querido was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 0.
Stairway increased the lead as
S. Demange struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Halftime score was 3 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Stairway, with 67 percent of the ball.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Stairway coach let
R. Villabona replace
T. Dahlkvist after 46 minutes.
Stairway's
S. Demange struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 0 after 49 minutes.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Stairway lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
S. Demange wanted to play on, but the Stairway coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 62 minutes into the game by
S. Strasser.
S. Strasser became the new Stairway captain.
A. Querido should probably have put his team up another goal after 66 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
W. Zankl kept the visitors in the game.
72 minutes into the game, Stairway were awarded a penalty that
H. Hjalmarsson turned into 5 - 0 without a problem.
Stairway claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.
The most dominating Stairway player was without a doubt
A. Querido.
O. Stryffler on the other hand, had a terrible day.
M. Jalón performed admirably for Bullshit.
W. Zankl was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 5 - 0.
