Dark skies made the crowd of 3430 at Invernalia a little nervous, but the rain held off. David Krajíček was the appointed referee with assistance provided by David Jiménez and Alfonso Aylwin. One of many good crosses from V. Bager on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by I. Florea, who scored for Beerhunters. 0 - 1 The crowd roared in delight as H. Pettersson finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Rianxeira 18 minutes into the match. 1 - 1. 33 minutes into the game, Rianxeira seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to poor. 35 minutes into the game, Beerhunters seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a solid level of organisation. Rianxeira had a chance to take the lead after A. Atanes's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 39 minutes. After 40 minutes, the defensive line of Beerhunters created a counterattack through the middle that gave C. Tresigne a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After 42 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Beerhunters found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Beerhunters enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

The Rianxeira players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a passable organisation when the game started again. Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Beerhunters was able to get his message across, and raised Beerhunters's organisation to solid. 52 minutes in, Beerhunters appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. After 66 minutes Rianxeira's A. Siltola had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. V. Suárez came in to replace him. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, W. Peterhans got himself booked. The manager of Rianxeira was not happy. Rianxeira fans held their breath as A. Atanes scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 2 - 1! 78 minutes in, Rianxeira's F. Solís received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Rianxeira claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Most important Rianxeira player was A. Atanes. V. Suárez was a disappointment, however. Beerhunters's top performer was clearly A. Ngugi. P. Gaarde on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 1.
