(379826969)

06-06-2012 14.20
1874 punters turned up at
Samargalo Stadium, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Emiel Hielckert was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Gal Fishman and
Lucien Heggli.
Fazisi had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation.
Starters: Neuberger - Philippens, Paredes - Fjel, Grapatin, Gergedava, Nerseniani, Tomšić - Aslanishvili, García, Bargas.
A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Libotenice.
The following players took the field: Kostyuk - Paprskář, Saraçi, Huszárik, Buzilă, Čapljić - Wasielewski, Mladenov, Wawrzusiszyn, Dobrić - Dobó.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
J. Fjel, but the Fazisi player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
K. Tomšić made a quick rush after 17 minutes, but
L. Paprskář had no problems keeping up the pace and stopped the attack.
Coming from the right,
S. García almost managed to score another goal for Fazisi, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
C. Buzilă from Libotenice a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 19 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Fazisi's
J. Grapatin increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
After 28 minutes Libotenice tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately,
S. Mladenov's shot sailed wide after his break down the right.
J. Huszárik received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 39 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
Cheers filled the stadium as
J. Grapatin broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Fazisi.
By now, the players in Fazisi felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
It was 3 - 0 at the break.
Fazisi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 90 percent.
82 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
K. Tomšić broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Fazisi.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
G. Aslanishvili squirmed through their central defence after 83 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0.
Fazisi managed to extend their lead to 6 - 0 when
Á. Bargas cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
Fazisi enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 92 percent of possession.
The most dominating Fazisi player was without a doubt
Z. Gergedava.
R. Philippens on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Z. Wawrzusiszyn performed admirably for Libotenice.
S. Wasielewski was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 6 - 0.
