05-06-2012 19.10
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 550 to
Dream's Stadium.
Thibault Riou was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Arvid Tranblad and
Ricardo José Lobo.
Volante started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
They fielded: Nicolae - Morgia, Laçi, Retico - Tognazzo, De Liso, Petitto, Dal Farra - Jahier, Barzasi, Levato.
FCQ 2000 tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Furlani - Feitosa, Hijano, Schokker - Annoni, Montecchiani, Camarda, Mottola, Califano - Bizzozero, Rubio Saenz.
After a fine move down the middle
G. Dal Farra nearly gave the home side a goal after 8 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
FCQ 2000's
M. Annoni could have put the guests one up after 14 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
F. Nicolae was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
Volante made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
L. Morgia completely alone with keeper
G. Furlani, who made a spectacular block.
N. Feitosa would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
N. Bongiolatti entered the game for FCQ 2000 as the match clock showed 29 minutes.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of FCQ 2000's
B. Rubio Saenz after 37 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead.
It was 0 - 1 at the break.
FCQ 2000 had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.
V. Califano left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 51 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
P. Sanguanini was the replacement.
After 72 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
N. Bongiolatti who increased FCQ 2000's lead to 0 - 2.
P. Sanguanini was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, FCQ 2000's
N. Bongiolatti managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 0 - 3
The referee showed Volante's
G. Dal Farra the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.

Volante's best player was
C. Levato.
M. Retico on the other hand, had a terrible day.
B. Rubio Saenz performed admirably for FCQ 2000.
M. Annoni turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 0 - 3.
