(379868648)

05-06-2012 20.25
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 3250 had shown up at
Manse BH Arena for the match.
Simion Staicu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Šime Mrdalj and
Fabien Hourcade.
Manse tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
Lineup: Papilaya - Kask, Tulokainen, Matas, Hilhorst - Äyräpää, Eeva, Hattu, Laakkonen - Rautakorpi, Rompasaari.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Balsa UTD.
The following players had been chosen: Tzemach - Arzalluz, Liedquist, Malling - Sierra Galán, Plaza, Rozhkov, Hainz, Mächler - Autenrieth, Gibson.
Today, Manse's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks.
Balsa UTD saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
As the 1 minute mark approached, the Manse coach decided it was time for a substitution.
R. Eeva reluctantly made way for
J. Nurmio on the pitch.
14 minutes into the game, Manse had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
solid.
39 minutes in, Manse appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
weak.
The visiting
H. Hainz was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 39 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
With 41 minutes having been played, Manse scored to make it 1 - 1. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but
J. Rompasaari was marked down as the scorer.
Balsa UTD had to make a substitution after 43 minutes.
L. Mächler limped off the field and was replaced by
B. Onken.
44 minutes into the game, Manse wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
G. Matas gave
E. Vinkvist a quick hug as he left the field.
After 44 minutes, the Manse coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
E. Tulokainen off the field.
K. Talas took his place.
It was 1 - 1 at the break.
Manse claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.
The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Manse had
passable organisation.
E. Vinkvist gave Manse the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 2 - 1
84 minutes into the game, Manse seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
inadequate level of organisation.
J. Nurmio could have increased the lead after 87 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
With 89 minutes played, Manse put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
J. Rompasaari, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Confident in their lead, Manse's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
B. Onken got himself booked. The manager of Balsa UTD was not happy.
After 89 minutes Balsa UTD's
M. Tzemach limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
Possession in this half belonged to Manse, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.
The most dominating Manse player was without a doubt
A. Äyräpää.
On the other hand,
A. Hilhorst's play was disheartening.
Balsa UTD's best player was
H. Malling.
B. Onken turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 1.
