Özakar was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. S. Vasile replaced him. After 39 minutes, K_A_H_T_A_S_P_O_R were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. R. Renquin did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. After a fine move down the middle S. Vasile nearly gave the home side a goal after 57 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 62 minutes into the match, and J. Sturmwetter wasn't about to let it go by.
