Y. Ungar received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 7 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. K. Ibn-Ashraf looked great 25 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' V. Kapllani. After 26 minutes, the defensive line of mwl created a counterattack through the middle that gave R. Loevestein a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Paltadiakos had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

After 77 minutes of play, the free-spirited N. Mpardakis decided to go for goal as he struck the ball from the corner of the pitch. The ball hit a defender in the face and bounced out of play. 82 minutes in, mwl's H. Blaß received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Paltadiakos were forced into a substitution as N. Tsouloufas couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Lima Fernandes to come in off the bench. Paltadiakos's M. Seremetiadis could have put the guests one up after 84 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but K. Ibn-Ashraf was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. mwl's Y. Gofman got himself booked for a foul. Paltadiakos claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

As neither team had managed to win, extra time was called. Slack defending gave mwl a chance to take the lead with 94 minutes played, but A. Kashtan's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. After extra time, the game was still tied and a penalty shoot-out ensued.

mwl's M. Berko didn't look like he was confident as he stepped up, and produced a badly struck penalty - right into the arms of M. Rodrigues Inácio. The score remained 0 - 0. When it comes to placing a ball precisely, R. Giannettino is a real wizard. He put it safely away for Paltadiakos to make the score 0 - 1. mwl's R. Heien looked like he knew exactly where he wanted to put the ball, but unfortunately his shot went wide of the left hand post. Still 0 - 1. Boy, does A. Kounelakis of Paltadiakos know how to treat a football or what?! He's curled that shot past the keeper and into the top corner of the goal - a great penalty! 0 - 2. Oooh - how unlucky! mwl's K. Ibn-Ashraf attempt hit the underside of the bar, but rebounded down into the grateful arms of M. Rodrigues Inácio. The score stays 0 - 2. Paltadiakos's V. Kapllani looked nervous even as he was putting the ball on the spot. He didn't take much of a run up, and his weak shot was easily saved by the keeper. Clearly nervous from the start, mwl's Y. Ungar took a long run up, but could only blast the ball over the bar. The score remains 0 - 2. Paltadiakos's B. Meert coolly put the ball past K. Ibn-Ashraf. 0 - 3. mwl's R. Favier didn't look like he was confident as he stepped up, and produced a badly struck penalty - right into the arms of M. Rodrigues Inácio. The score remained 0 - 3. Paltadiakos's A. Lima Fernandes kept his cool as he faced down K. Ibn-Ashraf. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 0 - 4. Most important mwl player was H. Blaß. M. Berko was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Paltadiakos player was without a doubt M. Seremetiadis. B. Meert on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 4.
