That was far too lenient! The referee showed Holvasti's M. Fassa the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Holvasti's V. Bizzini somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for N. Sedó, who struck for 1 - 2. With 43 minutes played, A. Nesher of Holvasti fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. It was obvious that Holvasti had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. With 44 minutes played, Holvasti put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. Nesher. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Holvasti lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Holvasti's N. Sedó was shown a yellow card after 44 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Bárbaros's F. Jiménez Ayuso left the field after 44 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was M. Parra. Bárbaros's M. Parra got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 2 - 3. 2 - 3 was the score after the first half. Holvasti claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

S. Wrede wanted to play on, but the Holvasti coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by B. Šturc. The coach of Holvasti was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, M. Nelke came on for K. Stuehler. J. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 2 - 6. With 79 minutes played, V. Bizzini of Holvasti fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. M. Pöhö increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 2 - 7. Holvasti had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. 83 minutes into the game, Holvasti worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. When N. Sedó left the game because of a back injury after 84 minutes, Holvasti had to continue a man short due to there being no available replacements. Holvasti had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

M. Parra performed admirably for Bárbaros. G. Smedile on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Holvasti player was O. Zubillaga. M. Aleksić turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 7.
