It was an obvious ambition of LFCRapid to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. The LFCRapid free kick 6 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of G. Braconi, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 0! LFCRapid's A. Maestra had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 8 minutes having been played. I. Georgescu was the replacement. K. van Nieuwstad should probably have put his team up another goal after 24 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by E. Rolandsson kept the visitors in the game. I. Georgescu could have put LFCRapid up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 39 minutes. K. van Nieuwstad dispatched a majestic long shot 41 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. 43 minutes in, Kylören appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. It was 1 - 0 at the break. LFCRapid enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Kylören get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 54 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and R. van Rijnswou gave the LFCRapid supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. LFCRapid's I. Georgescu left the field after 58 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was F. Chiper. Piechulski of Kylören received a yellow card after 75 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 84 minutes into the game, Kylören had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. After 88 minutes, the defensive line of Kylören created a counterattack through the middle that gave F. Emminger a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Kylören's M. Londero was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 88 minutes. After 89 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by I. Insaurbe might have resulted in another goal for LFCRapid. However, E. Rolandsson made a spectacular save. LFCRapid had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

LFCRapid's top performer was clearly S. Del Prete. F. Chiper on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Kylören player was without a doubt J. Balseiro. On the other hand, J. Hammerle's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 0.
