Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 1794 at Teste Mobili Arena today. Miguel Imanuel Palzer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Georg Weiler and Claudio Amoruso. ACTM started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Lineup: Elena - Illáns, Epelbaum - Medda, Dedič, Giovinazzo, Orellana, Cazzaro - Saleppichi, Tavolaro, Piraino.

Atl.SZenon tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. Starters: Marques - Mehdorn, Roviaro - Roviaro, Cavia, Folini, Fantappiè, Girotto - Cornillon, Incudine, Di Gregorio.

ACTM were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. The crowd groaned its disapproval when B. Dedič missed a free kick that would have given ACTM the lead after 13 minutes. S. Piraino gave ACTM the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Atl.SZenon's E. Girotto was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 30 minutes. Cheers filled the stadium as G. Tavolaro broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to ACTM. 37 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Orellana broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for ACTM. 38 minutes into the game, Atl.SZenon had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. 39 minutes in, Atl.SZenon appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. ACTM managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when A. Giovinazzo cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. By now, the players in ACTM felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. S. Mehdorn got left behind when ACTM's G. Tavolaro made a sudden run forward after 41 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 5 - 0! 42 minutes in, Atl.SZenon's F. Fantappiè received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 5 - 0 was the halftime score. ACTM claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

A review of the gameplan helped Atl.SZenon get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. 47 minutes in, G. Roviaro made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but C. Elena refused to let the ball slip by him. With 59 minutes played, ACTM put themselves up 6 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to S. Piraino, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The ACTM players could smell victory in the air. D. Medda wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for A. Pestarino after 60 minutes. 62 minutes into the game, Atl.SZenon seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. After 69 minutes Atl.SZenon's A. Marques contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of ACTM to 7 - 0 as G. Tavolaro finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. This third goal completed a hattrick for G. Tavolaro. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. C. Orellana squirmed through their central defence after 74 minutes, increasing the lead to 8 - 0. S. Piraino wanted to play on, but the ACTM coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by P. Donnarumma. The coach of ACTM was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes, I. Candia came on for T. Illáns. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ACTM, with 71 percent of the ball.

Most important ACTM player was P. Donnarumma. C. Elena was a disappointment, however. Atl.SZenon's top performer was clearly W. Cornillon. S. Mehdorn on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 8 - 0.
