Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and holon arena saw a crowd turnout of 2156. ADVANTURE clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Holden. Holden took the lead 12 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. C. Pedersen was the scorer. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from C. Drażba after 14 minutes, and prevented Holden from going up another goal. After 15 minutes, the defensive line of ADVANTURE created a counterattack through the middle that gave B. Hafstad a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. The visitors' B. Macao took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 26 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Holden. N. Obradović got a fingertip on G. Riccio's shot from the left 38 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Holden, with 59 percent of the ball.

After 54 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for C. Pedersen who increased Holden's lead to 0 - 3. C. Drażba's lightning pace was too much for D. Cerchio who could only look on as the Holden player blasted one home. 0 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of Holden were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. L. Peña received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 58 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Holden fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. With 61 minutes played, the ADVANTURE coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. R. Baranes came on, N. Obradović had to leave the fray. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, ADVANTURE's Z. Kouřimský was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 61 minutes. S. Charpentier was given a chance to change things around. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, J. Bleuten took over the role of being the ADVANTURE captain. ADVANTURE needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 71 minutes D. Goemans made way for M. Bruckmüller. 76 minutes into the game, C. Drażba had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came N. Gelli. After 84 minutes, G. Riccio sent the corner kick right to L. Peña who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 6! Holden claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

B. Hafstad performed admirably for ADVANTURE. J. Bleuten turned in a dismal performance, however. Holden's best player was G. Pittore. However, N. Gelli made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 6.
