Kovačević to make a difficult dribble close to dangerous opponent J. Kuamba of Back-on-Track, who took the opportunity to score making it 2 - 0. The players of Back-on-Track now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A bit later, Essevee_'s T. Kinsabil easily reduced the lead to 2 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. In a rapid move 29 minutes into the match, T. Kinsabil of Essevee_ lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked A. Gaschet who easily hit it home to make it 2 - 2. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! After 30 minutes, B. Boris came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 3 - 2, giving Back-on-Track the lead. Essevee_'s M. Vadalà was shown a yellow card after 31 minutes for slicing down an opponent. T. Kinsabil's lightning pace was too much for G. Temmerman who could only look on as the Essevee_ player blasted one home. 3 - 3. Halftime score was 3 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Back-on-Track, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

54 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Back-on-Track to take the lead after a good cross from the right found J. Kuamba alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Essevee_ took the lead after 74 minutes making the score 3 - 4. V. Ylikoski placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Back-on-Track's M. Clermont was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 76 minutes. No matter how hard he tried, J. Kuamba just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 83 minutes. Back-on-Track's C. Luger was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - T. Gourvil managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 4 - 4 after 85 minutes. 87 minutes into the match and the home team took a 5 - 4 lead after breaking through on the left.
