MaspalomasFC Arenas, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.

Višeslav Kelec and
Eric Chavatte.
All of
Galicia was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby.
MaspalomasFC had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.

The following players had been chosen: Portillo - Arias, Porteiro, Brabandt - Tobia, Petrók, MacHall, Palac, Furst - Crous, Drakopoulos.
MaspalomasFC seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
Dams clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle.
M. Tobia of Dams was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
MaspalomasFC fans held their breath as
B. Juárez scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0!
After 7 minutes, Dams used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach.
20 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by
M. Drakopoulos from
M. Furst's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for Dams, making the score 1 - 1.
The visiting
M. Drakopoulos was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 25 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score.

V. Arias was shown a yellow card after 32 minutes for slicing down an opponent.

Confident in their lead, Dams's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.

A. Palac finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the Dams coach let

F. Crous after 60 minutes.
A. Palac left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.

Always a threat,
İ. Deniz tore past his marker and placed the ball right at the feet of the waiting
G. Caruana who should have easily scored for MaspalomasFC, but the ball went wide.
