Lima's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for metodo, he bravely continued in the match. At 28 minutes played, T. Ćisić came in from the right with the intention of giving metodo the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. metodo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

69 minutes into the match, garulos nearly took the lead, as V. Feuvrier broke through on the right. A. Rénet made the save, however. 71 minutes into the game, metodo wanted to bring some new energy to their game. A. Çağıl gave G. Grama a quick hug as he left the field. Down the middle came S. Tellopoulos, making a fantastic play that nearly had garulos take the lead after 72 minutes, but A. Rénet preserved the tie. After 74 minutes, the metodo coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving W. Adriazola off the field. F. Vydrenko took his place. Attacking on the wings was the choice for garulos, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. garulos took the lead after 75 minutes making the score 0 - 1. L. Boorsma placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. garulos's J. Riva was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 80 minutes. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 81 minutes, garulos did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, V. Feuvrier was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 2. 83 minutes in, metodo's T. Ćisić received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The player down was S. Abramov. The garulos bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. The referee showed garulos's R. Tourette the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A. Bordera was called on to replace garulos's G. Schuhegger after 89 minutes following a nasty collision. The garulos captaincy was handed to V. Feuvrier. garulos had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

The most dominating metodo player was without a doubt F. Vydrenko. A. Rénet on the other hand, had a terrible day. L. Violante performed admirably for garulos. A. Bordera was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
