Clouds darkened the skies at Gladiators Arena as 12000 spectators turned up for the match. Danny Banin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Karel op den Kamp and Mercurio Camino. AYCA's W. Pulit gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 2 minutes with a superb strike from the right. After 8 minutes, a long pass from AYCA's T. Milosev caught the defence out of position. P. Chashlarov collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 0 - 2. After 11 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave V. Délétroz a chance to increase the lead for AYCA, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. The referee showed AYCA's M. Degruyter the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. V. Petrevski dispatched a majestic long shot 30 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. A foul called during a United counterattack resulted in a great chance to score, but C. Pavlov's shot rattled off the post. A drive down the left side allowed V. Délétroz to get in close and score another goal for AYCA after 32 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. The visitors' V. Petrevski took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 36 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for AYCA. The players of AYCA now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 0 - 5 was the halftime score. AYCA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 85 percent of possession.

After 68 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for W. Pulit who increased AYCA's lead to 0 - 6. A. Tenzi received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 76 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 7. The AYCA fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. With 79 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed S. Dragović of AYCA to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 8. T. Milosev of AYCA took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 82 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 9. 83 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 10 as M. Genin finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. AYCA had most of the ball, with 88 percent of possession.

V. Lashi performed admirably for United. C. Cvetanovski was a disappointment, however. AYCA's best player was V. Délétroz. W. Pulit on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 10.
