After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. špania's S. Avguštinčič had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 40 minutes having been played. D. Rajš was the replacement. The home crowd was not impressed when H. Deneke came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 41 minutes. Pozerji were now up 0 - 3. After 42 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave R. Sobočan a chance to increase the lead for Pozerji, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. After 43 minutes Pozerji's G. Milanovic limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. V. Korat received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 43 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Pozerji fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pozerji, with 85 percent of the ball.

V. Crnkovič wanted to play on, but the Pozerji coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by M. Binz. V. Korat left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. L. Pezderc was the replacement. R. Sobočan could have put his team up another goal 47 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. R. Špiletič took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 63 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for Pozerji. Pozerji claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 88 percent.

špania's top performer was clearly J. Gačič. S. Cerar was a disappointment, however. Most important Pozerji player was R. Sobočan. However, L. Pezderc made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 8.
