The crowd of 12000 turning up at Vransko today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Teddy Williams was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Walter Daniel Latorre and Mikael Eggbratt. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for NKChaoS. They fielded: Pravdič - Neubarth, Javor, Ansaloni, Akšić - Jevan, Ramus, Letonja, Vigato - Meh, Ošlovnik.

BLOKE decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Starters: Jauhojärvi - Baillie, Ingelbach, Zopp - Di Gianfrancesco, Iermano, Mercau, Tonielli - Hrovat, Abu-Musa, Mališ.

M. Javor slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave E. Zopp from BLOKE a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 18 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! BLOKE's J. Mercau gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 27 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Unsportsmanlike behaviour by E. Zopp rendered him his second booking of the match, and BLOKE had to finish the game with a reduced squad. G. Ingelbach of BLOKE was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like B. Hrovat. With 38 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed B. Hrovat of BLOKE to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. The players of BLOKE now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Akšić got himself booked. The manager of NKChaoS was not happy. After 41 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave A. Abu-Musa a chance to increase the lead for BLOKE, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. B. Hrovat increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. BLOKE's M. Di Gianfrancesco left the field after 43 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was J. Slakar. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. BLOKE claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 81 percent.

BLOKE increased their lead after 49 minutes when A. Mališ broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 50 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed R. Tonielli to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 6. After 51 minutes, BLOKE's A. Abu-Musa burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. The visitors' A. Mališ took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 65 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for BLOKE. After 82 minutes of game time, A. Mališ had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but M. Pravdič was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After 83 minutes, NKChaoS were awarded a free kick as their counter attack broke down. The set piece was lifted over the top, intended to open up the defence. However, the target man seemed to be taken by surprise, and could not reach the ball before it crossed the line for a goal kick. BLOKE enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 84 percent of possession.

Most important NKChaoS player was S. Akšić. However, M. Pravdič made a disastrous appearance. BLOKE's top performer was clearly A. Abu-Musa. J. Slakar was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
