Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and N.K.Hajduk Arena saw a crowd turnout of 12000. With 51 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed D. Fabulić of Dicky to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6. After 59 minutes, Dicky's D. Fabulić burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. The visitors added to their lead 65 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Dicky's M. Beram slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 8. Dicky's R. Vopálenský was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - H. Strandland managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 9 after 77 minutes. With 79 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, D. Fabulić needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. After 82 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave V. Perčić a chance to increase the lead for Dicky, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 10. After 83 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed K. Sutterlüty to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 11. Possession in this half belonged to Dicky, who controlled the ball 74 percent of the time.

Most important N.K.Hajduk player was R. Zmajić. G. Bertoncelj turned in a dismal performance, however. Dicky's best player was M. Pereira. However, A. Akhvlediani made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 11.
