Ostrava took a creative approach on the field. V. Tvrzník got left behind when Ostrava's V. Tozzato made a sudden run forward after 9 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 0 - 1! Some fine movement on the left led to a Ostrava goal after 16 minutes, making it 0 - 2. V. Tozzato was noted down as the scorer. M. Bolf's lack of experience almost gave Ostrava a goal after 17 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. N. Vraast received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 25 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Ostrava fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 27 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave W. Huijsmans a chance to increase the lead for Ostrava, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Ostrava lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After the ball was lifted in from the left, D. Martinez was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 30 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The visitors' N. Vraast took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 31 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Ostrava. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ostrava, with 86 percent of the ball.

After 54 minutes, a long pass from Ostrava's P. Di Pietro caught the defence out of position. N. Nekrylov collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 0 - 6. D. Martinez of Ostrava took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 55 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7. After 58 minutes, Ostrava's N. Vraast burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 8. That made three goals for N. Vraast and he was marked down for the hat trick. After 75 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave D. Martinez a chance to increase the lead for Ostrava, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 9. 76 minutes into the game, Ostrava worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave O. Švrčina from Wildtigers a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 78 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Ostrava's U. Antolini left the field after 79 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was A. Cacciamani. After 80 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Cacciamani who increased Ostrava's lead to 0 - 10. Ostrava had most of the ball, with 88 percent of possession.

Wildtigers's top performer was clearly V. Klejch. R. Foršt was a disappointment, however. Most important Ostrava player was P. Di Pietro. However, R. Bradáč made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 10.
