It had rained all day, but 3889 hardy fans still made it out to Viva Barns. Mario Introddi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sami Syrenius and Julio Surja. rolig tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. AP's G. Ghitti managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 4 minutes. 0 - 1. The home crowd cheered when, after 5 minutes, A. Wildisen's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 12 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed R. Severo to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. 18 minutes into the game, AP seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. 24 minutes into the game, AP were awarded a penalty and G. Ghitti was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. AP claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

A review of the gameplan helped AP get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. AP came close to extending their lead as F. Toledo delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 62 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. 71 minutes in, AP's L. Ozley received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. AP's A. Wildisen left the field after 74 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was S. Suntay. With 78 minutes played, T. Barben was very close to reducing the score for rolig with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. R. Pajot was called on to replace AP's E. Álvarez de Miranda after 81 minutes following a nasty collision. R. Schalcher neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to F. Rutz who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. S. Rivière increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. The players of AP now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. AP's R. Severo got himself booked for a foul. rolig's Q. Repp went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Possession in this half belonged to AP, who controlled the ball 69 percent of the time.

rolig's top performer was clearly Q. Repp. However, G. Hauri made a disastrous appearance. E. Ferreres performed admirably for AP. R. Pajot was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
