At this point, it was obvious that the players of Çorumgücü lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. S. Tonti burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. C. Smith could have put his team up another goal 44 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. The visitors' Y. Caron took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 44 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Çorumgücü. After 44 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Çorumgücü found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. Tonti the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 84 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave A. Salomäki a chance to increase the lead for Çorumgücü, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 8. Çorumgücü enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 89 percent of possession.

The most dominating ÇoLaKLaR player was without a doubt D. Arıcan. However, Y. Menderes made a disastrous appearance. Çorumgücü's top performer was clearly E. Baray. S. Urdu turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
