(380281363)

12-06-2012 19.45
The 15100 fans in attendance at
Arena Findus Football Club were roasting in the hot sun.
Anders Holbo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jürgen Raab and
Zdeněk Takáč.
BMFCc tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Starters: Braia - Bocchio, Pisilrud, Poggi sandri - Birckhahn, Akbaran, Lørring, Andía, Galvenieks - Pourrier, Fagioli.
Hantu started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Pozo - Prast, Cooreman, Hartge, Krayushkin - Kiele, Agostinho, Barrio, Issa - Zmarzła, Egaña.
The wings were the focus of most of Hantu's attacks today.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Hantu's
C. Zmarzła after 22 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead.
Had it not been for one of the home defenders,
E. Agostinho would have put Hantu up another goal 33 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing.
The referee showed Hantu's
V. Krayushkin the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
After 37 minutes, Hantu's
P. Hartge burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2.
BMFCc's
A. Pisilrud got himself booked for a foul.
A loud groan was heard from the fans of Hantu, as
V. Krayushkin left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match.
A. Moro took his place on the field.
With 41 minutes played,
C. Zmarzła nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar.
After the ball was lifted in from the left,
M. Egaña was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 42 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
0 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Hantu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.
The coach of Hantu was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes,
M. Sordoni came on for
M. Egaña.
Usually a powerful player on the field,
D. Pourrier looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun.
L. Kiele wanted to play on, but the Hantu coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by
F. Kok.
65 minutes into the game,
S. Akbaran had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
G. Barone.
69 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as
C. Zmarzła finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
Confident in their lead, Hantu's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why
C. Zmarzła found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork.
In the lead, Hantu adjusted their style of play with 76 minutes gone.
The home team's supporters got excited again when
G. Barone broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 3.
Hantu enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.
J. Lørring performed admirably for BMFCc.
A. Braia on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important Hantu player was
A. Moro.
P. Hartge turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 3.
