However the finishing shot went just wide. One of many good crosses from S. Ayün on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by M. Tambalo, who scored for FCC. 1 - 0 FCC's W. Ben Ouannes somehow missed a penalty 33 minutes into the match, much to the crowd's displeasure. Attacking on the wings was the choice for FCC, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. FCC put themselves up 2 - 0 when M. Grabbi broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. FCC had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

M. Tambalo increased the lead for FCC to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! sfiga breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 70 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar. Given a free kick close to the byline, FCC tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let A. Reinhardtshain slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 4 - 0, 71 minutes into the game. By now, the players in FCC felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. FCC's A. Reinhardtshain got himself booked for a foul. FCC managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when S. Gürtan cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. M. Grabbi could have put FCC up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 83 minutes. FCC enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

M. Tambalo performed admirably for FCC. However, N. Gallo made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating sfiga player was without a doubt C. Cerutti. R. Libert was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
