The 12000 fans in attendance at FcRoboottimans Arena were roasting in the hot sun. Rinus Hartsinck was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Johan Månlind and Leonardo Rubén Sábato. FcRoboottimans had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Starters: Keskilä - Huiskala, Merihaara, Linno, Kurronen - Huittinen, Lundström, Rahko, Keitaanpää - Linnaranta, Riipinen.

Showdown started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Moses - Bobe, Bejizati, Reischasch - Mărgineanu, Beran, Vélez, Jančich, Walkosz - Laanila, Dias Teixeira.

The terraces were silenced after 2 minutes when Showdown's G. Walkosz put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. S. Dias Teixeira received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 3 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Showdown fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The home crowd was not impressed when G. Walkosz came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 27 minutes. Showdown were now up 0 - 3. After 35 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed G. Walkosz to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for G. Walkosz. By now, the players in Showdown felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. V. Laanila of Showdown took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 37 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 5. It was 0 - 5 at the break. Showdown claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 85 percent.

S. Dias Teixeira increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 6. With 67 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, V. Bobe needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. With 68 minutes played, Showdown put themselves up 0 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was C. Mărgineanu. S. Dias Teixeira really should have scored when he was chosen by fate to confront a wide open goal following a great play by A. Beran after a corner. Showdown increased their lead after 78 minutes when V. Bobe broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. V. Laanila was, after 79 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper A. Keskilä made the save. After 83 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave S. Dias Teixeira a chance to increase the lead for Showdown, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 9. By then S. Dias Teixeira had scored three goals - a hat trick! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Showdown, with 87 percent of the ball.

Most important FcRoboottimans player was S. Linnaranta. However, N. Merihaara made a disastrous appearance. V. Laanila performed admirably for Showdown. D. Reischasch turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 9.
