Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Svinestien! saw a crowd turnout of 12000. Daniele Mantenuto was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mika Rindell and Dragos Ignat. Tropper started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Thomasen - Steffensen, Ploug, Brøchner, Rolfsen - Brosbøl, Sværke, Frederiksen, Abildgaard - Geertsen, Lauritzen.

Rodskov tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. The following players took the field: Arnull - Gaudefroy, Mayorquín - Lanuza Conesa, Grimm, Gil de Gibaja, Mann, Petrak - Torp, Therkildsen, Dadaev.

A penalty was given after 12 minutes, allowing the visitors to gain the lead: 0 - 1. C. Mayorquín was the scorer. After 13 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for M. Petrak who increased Rodskov's lead to 0 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Rodskov lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Some fine movement on the left led to a Rodskov goal after 14 minutes, making it 0 - 3. K. Therkildsen was noted down as the scorer. Rodskov increased their lead after 23 minutes when M. Petrak broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. 35 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as E. Dadaev finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 5. Rodskov enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 85 percent of possession.

The Rodskov free kick 56 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of E. Torp, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 6! K. Therkildsen looked to be heading one way when he unexpectedly passed the ball to A. Lanuza Conesa. The move caught everyone off-guard, including his teammate, who panicked and kicked the ball out of play by accident. A well placed corner kick from C. Mayorquín was followed by G. Gaudefroy's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Rodskov, the score now 0 - 7. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Rodskov coach let F. Calva replace J. Gil de Gibaja after 65 minutes. F. Calva became the new Rodskov captain. With 65 minutes played, Rodskov put themselves up 0 - 8 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was E. Dadaev. K. Therkildsen received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 66 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 9. The Rodskov fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The visitors' B. Mann took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 67 minutes into the match. 0 - 10 for Rodskov. After 68 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave E. Torp a chance to increase the lead for Rodskov, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 11. The Rodskov players could smell victory in the air. E. Torp wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for I. Nica after 75 minutes. The coach of Rodskov was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 89 minutes, N. Ebbesen came on for M. Arnull. Rodskov had most of the ball, with 88 percent of possession.

H. Steffensen performed admirably for Tropper. S. Thomasen turned in a dismal performance, however. Rodskov's top performer was clearly F. Calva. However, D. Grimm made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 11.
