16954 spectators had come to Camelot Arena this cloudy day. Juha Rintaluhta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hans Haedicke and Pentti Adamsson. Janikowo had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Krugiołka - Dumonceau, Lafont, David - Bănuţ, Kołodyński, Leoprechting, Mizieliński, Brütsch - Manrique, Serwański.

15 minutes into the game, Grall seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. With 23 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. L. Manrique put the ball away for 0 - 1. After 28 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed J. Lafont to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. Z. Serwański increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Janikowo were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Janikowo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

During the break, Grall's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. 62 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as S. Bănuţ finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After 67 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Grall found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. A drive down the left side allowed S. Bănuţ to get in close and score another goal for Janikowo after 74 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5. Grall's J. Pattschull was shown a yellow card after 82 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home crowd was not impressed when L. Manrique came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 83 minutes. Janikowo were now up 0 - 6. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Š. Holák from Grall a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 88 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! R. Knarren was called on to replace Grall's K. Straus after 89 minutes following a nasty collision. Janikowo increased their lead after 89 minutes when J. Lafont broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Janikowo, with 77 percent of the ball.

B. Cabański performed admirably for Grall. C. Clejanu turned in a dismal performance, however. Janikowo's top performer was clearly J. Lafont. However, T. Krugiołka made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 7.
