Clouds darkened the skies at Stadion(u) LZS Zimny Browar S.A. as 18910 spectators turned up for the match. Gerçek Mesrur was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gleb Parashchuk and Federico Hechenberger. BrowarS.A. started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Neble - Chouchane, Bandirali, Zehnder, Szóstak - Papuc, Tóth, Kolmschot, Trociński - Chrabonszczewski, Galakhov.

BrowarS.A. clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. It was an obvious ambition of Jaworzno to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Jaworzno, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. The terraces were silenced after 3 minutes when Jaworzno's K. Jaško put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. BrowarS.A. were close to equalising with a spectacular free kick by B. Tóth after 6 minutes, but C. Sá made a great save, tipping it to a corner. With 14 minutes played, BrowarS.A.'s C. Papuc found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. After 19 minutes BrowarS.A.'s B. Tóth contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. K. Jaško made a nice dash down the wing after 27 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Jaworzno enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

After 60 minutes of the match, the manager still hoped to turn things around. R. Trociński was ordered to assume a different position on the pitch. He took the place of C. Papuc, who in turn replaced his team mate. After 71 minutes of play, A. Chouchane equalised for BrowarS.A. after an elegant attack from the right. 75 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a BrowarS.A. substitution. K. Burkia came on for S. Szóstak. As the 77 minute mark approached, the BrowarS.A. coach decided it was time for a substitution. T. Chrabonszczewski reluctantly made way for Ż. Lipiarz on the pitch. The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a marvellous free kick after 78 minutes, but T. Neble made a beautiful one-handed save. Jaworzno's A. Resmi was shown a yellow card after 79 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 80 minutes, the BrowarS.A. coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving M. Kolmschot off the field. L. Słowacki took his place. BrowarS.A.'s J. Bandirali had to leave the pitch and there were no more available substitutions! BrowarS.A.'s R. Trociński tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Jaworzno, with 54 percent of the ball.

With the scores being level after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time. Slack defending gave BrowarS.A. a chance to take the lead with 103 minutes played, but R. Trociński's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. Jaworzno's R. Eales could have put the guests one up after 106 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but T. Neble was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. After extra time, the game was still tied and a penalty shoot-out ensued.

BrowarS.A.'s D. Galakhov looked nervous even as he was putting the ball on the spot. He didn't take much of a run up, and his weak shot was easily saved by the keeper. Clearly nervous from the start, Jaworzno's R. Eales took a long run up, but could only blast the ball over the bar. The score remains 1 - 1. BrowarS.A.'s C. Papuc kept his cool as he faced down C. Sá. His composure paid off as he scored easily for 2 - 1. Jaworzno's E. Mayer didn't look like he was confident as he stepped up, and produced a badly struck penalty - right into the arms of T. Neble. The score remained 2 - 1. BrowarS.A.'s A. Chouchane made no mistake. C. Sá didn't have a chance. 3 - 1. Jaworzno's P. Schranz looked like he knew exactly where he wanted to put the ball, but unfortunately his shot went wide of the left hand post. Still 3 - 1. The crowd was awed by R. Trociński's finely placed shot for BrowarS.A. making it 4 - 1. Jaworzno's K. Jaško looked nervous even as he was putting the ball on the spot. He didn't take much of a run up, and his weak shot was easily saved by the keeper. BrowarS.A.'s M. Zehnder was relaxed as he smoothly put the ball in the net. 5 - 1! Oooh - how unlucky! Jaworzno's G. Johansson attempt hit the underside of the bar, but rebounded down into the grateful arms of T. Neble. The score stays 5 - 1. BrowarS.A.'s best player was B. Tóth. L. Słowacki on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Jaworzno player was without a doubt A. Resmi. E. Mayer turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 1.
