Clouds darkened the skies at Rajsko Arena as 23915 spectators turned up for the match. Lorenzo Melchiorre was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rendert Rooks and Edwin de Borst. Rajsko tried to focus their attacks down the middle. It was an obvious ambition of Norwida to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Some lightning fast two foot dribbles by M. Paegle left S. Lockert way behind after 12 minutes, but the shot was just wide. After a fine move down the middle S. Lockert nearly gave the home side a goal after 19 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. 27 minutes in, Norwida's S. den Hollander received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A penalty was given after 29 minutes, allowing the visitors to gain the lead: 0 - 1. R. Duminică was the scorer. A drive down the left side allowed T. Malus to get in close and score another goal for Norwida after 31 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. Players in Norwida heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Norwida increased their lead after 34 minutes when R. Duminică broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Norwida, with 57 percent of the ball.

Rajsko's J. Senning cut towards the middle after 49 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 1 - 3. Norwida were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. With 63 minutes played, Norwida put themselves up 1 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was T. Malus. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, R. Duminică would have put Norwida up another goal 66 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. J. Senning of Rajsko received a yellow card after 70 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Against a lesser team, Norwida could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 82 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. R. Bonifert dispatched a majestic long shot 84 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. Norwida enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

P. Oberman performed admirably for Rajsko. 苏. 兴正 (Xingzheng) was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Norwida player was without a doubt T. Malus. S. den Hollander on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 4.
