15847 punters turned up at The Devils Stars Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Ryan Edmiston was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Östen Mörnlund and Svein Ek. A 4-3-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Devils. Kamera took the lead 8 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. S. Eriksson was the scorer. After 12 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Devils found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to solid. Some fine movement on the left led to a Kamera goal after 21 minutes, making it 0 - 2. A. Askenby was noted down as the scorer. The visitors almost increased their lead after 27 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. A well placed corner kick from A. Askenby was followed by P. Svanblom's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Kamera, the score now 0 - 3. 36 minutes in, Devils appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. A. Askenby received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 37 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Kamera fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The players of Kamera now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Kamera's M. Grundhall left the field after 38 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was P. Åkesson. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Kamera claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 76 percent.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Devils was able to get his message across, and raised Devils's organisation to solid. With 57 minutes played, Kamera put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was P. Svanblom. 61 minutes into the game, Devils seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. A penalty was missed by Kamera's A. Askenby 67 minutes into the match. Probably overconfident, he blasted a hard shot miles outside of the left post. After 79 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Liedman who increased Kamera's lead to 0 - 6. A drive down the left side allowed J. Birgersson to get in close and score another goal for Kamera after 83 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 7. The visitors' J. Öholt took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 86 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for Kamera. After 87 minutes Kamera's P. Svanblom limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kamera, with 89 percent of the ball.

M. Usai performed admirably for Devils. On the other hand, M. Pettersson's play was disheartening. Kamera's top performer was clearly S. Hörlius. However, P. Åkesson made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 8.
