Clouds darkened the skies at Tunavallen as 11386 spectators turned up for the match. Dylan Duffaud was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Wido Boelen and Heimo Kühn-Rechenmacher. Pressing was the tactic of the day for Tuna. The visiting V. Černý was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 16 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. Tuna's M. Gandoura got himself booked for a foul. The head of R. Mårtensson connected with a corner kick after 21 minutes, and the ball ended up with V. Černý of Almby who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 2. Almby increased the lead to 0 - 3 as L. Nagy scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. The visitors' V. Černý took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 25 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Almby. That made three goals for V. Černý and he was marked down for the hat trick. After 27 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed N. Wickling to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5. By now, the players in Almby felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. Simensen from Almby a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 28 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! E. Månsson of Tuna had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. R. Larsson came in to finish the match. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, A. Azzi took over the role of being the Tuna captain. 0 - 5 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Almby, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

Almby increased their lead after 49 minutes when G. Simensen broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. V. Fogelner received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 62 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 7. The Almby fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G. Feyhan got himself booked. The manager of Tuna was not happy. E. Almoiña left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 66 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. C. Comito was the replacement. After 69 minutes, Almby's R. Farsi burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 8. L. Nagy increased Almby's lead to 0 - 9 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. Almby enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 74 percent of possession.

Most important Tuna player was D. Radivojević. On the other hand, J. Vesterbrant's play was disheartening. R. Mårtensson performed admirably for Almby. L. Nagy on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 9.
