Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 4848 at quintrala f.c Arena today. Gigi Craioveanu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Cesare Plebani and Giampiero Arciozzi. quintrala decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when I. Feilmann slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against J. Mora, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. J. Mora looked great 24 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' I. Feilmann. L. Erčulj of Atlético received a yellow card after 25 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. quintrala had to make a substitution after 59 minutes. F. Carramiñana limped off the field and was replaced by I. Medina. The home crowd was not impressed when P. Albano came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 78 minutes. Atlético were now up 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Atlético were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The visitors added to their lead 81 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Atlético's C. Mac Auliffe slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 4. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Y. Tziovanis was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 82 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. A. Echalaz received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 88 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Atlético fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 89 minutes, Atlético's P. Albano burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. Atlético claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 79 percent.

J. Ditzel performed admirably for quintrala. However, J. Mora made a disastrous appearance. Atlético's top performer was clearly A. Pusceddu. R. Kubát on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 6.
