The 11351 spectators at
Pajizos Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Menno Bergkamp was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Silviu Axinte and
Alessandro Demontis.
Pajizos started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
Starters: Arreaza - Torres, Carballo, Garrido, Oyón - Esparragoza, Riera, Ponte, Negrón - Tortora, Manzanares.
ACCSAG decided to use a 4-3-3 set up.
They fielded: Aneiros - Cotecchia, Zerach, Celdran, Lider - Lopez Nogueira, Berg Sørensen, Lötzbeyer - Säglitz, Scolozzi, Acedo.
ACCSAG showed off their creative tactics.
A mistake by the home side's central defence after 3 minutes allowed
O. Scolozzi to score for ACCSAG. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1.
Pajizos's
F. Torres had a hard, curved free kick after 25 minutes that would have paid off, had it gone just a little lower.
With 27 minutes played, ACCSAG put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
C. Acedo.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of ACCSAG lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
ACCSAG increased their lead after 35 minutes when
L. Celdran broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay.
After 37 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
L. Lopez Nogueira a chance to increase the lead for ACCSAG, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4.
It was 0 - 4 at the break.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ACCSAG, with 62 percent of the ball.
A drive down the left side allowed
H. Lider to get in close and score another goal for ACCSAG after 51 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5.
As usual,
L. Ponte tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all.
O. Scolozzi received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 68 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The ACCSAG fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
A lack of experience caused
F. Carballo to make a difficult dribble close to dangerous opponent
J. Säglitz of ACCSAG, who took the opportunity to score making it 0 - 7.
The ACCSAG players could smell victory in the air.
L. Celdran wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
K. Marhani after 80 minutes.
The ACCSAG free kick 80 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
O. Scolozzi, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 8!
This third goal completed a hattrick for
O. Scolozzi.
After 84 minutes, ACCSAG's
F. Lötzbeyer burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 9.
ACCSAG claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.
Pajizos's top performer was clearly
J. Manzanares.
On the other hand,
G. Arreaza's play was disheartening.
Most important ACCSAG player was
R. Aneiros.
D. Zerach on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 0 - 9.
