9599 fans braved the pouring rain at j.f,c Arena. Jan Rolfsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jakub Musielak and Kamphon Dhammachayo. The Furia fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. J. Herrera was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! 25 minutes into the match, A. Alpízar came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The home crowd cheered when, after 30 minutes, C. Calvo's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Furia claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.

After 49 minutes, Furia's M. Taquenho burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. With 62 minutes played, A. Rojas of j.f,c fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 63 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as M. Taquenho finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At that, M. Taquenho was noted down for a hat trick! Confident in their lead, Furia's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 68 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Alpízar who increased Furia's lead to 0 - 6. After 74 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave E. Salas a chance to increase the lead for Furia, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 7. M. Taquenho increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 8. Possession in this half belonged to Furia, who controlled the ball 78 percent of the time.

A. Rojas performed admirably for j.f,c. M. Vallejos was a disappointment, however. Furia's top performer was clearly M. Romo. H. Zuñiga turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
