It was an obvious ambition of Heybeliada to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. 19 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for magica to take the lead after a good cross from the right found D. Ragueneau alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. 20 minutes in, magica appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. After 32 minutes of play, M. Alonso Arza gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. With 34 minutes played, magica's A. Vieira almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, A. Silvela got himself booked. Cascolan he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 2 - 0. The visitors got one back when M. Viry finished off a pass from the left and scored after 38 minutes. 2 - 1 was the score. Unsportsmanlike behaviour by A. Silvela rendered him his second booking of the match, and magica had to finish the game with a reduced squad. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. magica enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped magica get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 47 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by A. Vieira might have resulted in another goal for magica. However, S. Querweg made a spectacular save. 52 minutes into the game, magica seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in magica's D. Ragueneau increasing the lead to 3 - 1. With 73 minutes played, M. Alonso Arza of magica fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of magica to 4 - 1 as D. Ragueneau finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. M. Alonso Arza squirmed through their central defence after 79 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 1. Confident in their lead, magica's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. magica had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

Most important magica player was T. Jonk. J. Librecht on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Heybeliada player was without a doubt M. Viry. On the other hand, A. Makul's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 1.
