At this point, it was obvious that the players of Bedlam lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. TAIWAN's F. Altenburger got himself booked for a foul. The home crowd was not impressed when J. Lining came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 43 minutes. Bedlam were now up 0 - 4. It was 0 - 4 at the break. Bedlam enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

After 52 minutes, L. Zieba had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for TAIWAN with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. Bedlam's J. Andreasen made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 62 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The referee showed Bedlam's S. Falchetti the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. J. Lining of Bedlam seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 5 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by E. Laor. The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as 陳. 淮威 (Huaiwei) tried lifting the ball over keeper T. Lieddahl. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. Bedlam's E. Laor was shown a yellow card after 77 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Possession in this half belonged to TAIWAN, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.
